Because it Was There
So I finally did it. I hacked my phone and ran Quickpwn, and jailbreak the poor little guy. Now, the big question is why… When the original iphone was out, in the days before the App Store, I jailbreak my iphone, and my wife’s and my stepson’s. After all, there were apps I needed on a daily basis, and there was no other way to get them… plus, it was cool that my iPhone didn’t just look like everyone else’s. But in today’s App Store world, why run the risk of wrecking your phone? Good question, and the answer… Because I can. One of my favorite things to do with technology is t push it to the breaking point and then over, so that I know how far I can push something before it breaks.
